Who is responsible?

A VÅGE AS, company no. 999 654 126, is the data controller for personal data received when someone contacts the business. Our address is Morkamyra 15, 6105 Volda.

When you contact us

When you email or call us, we may process your name, telephone number, email address, company and the information you provide about your enquiry or project. We use this to reply, clarify requirements and follow up any further discussions or agreement.

The legal basis is taking necessary steps before entering into a contract or performing a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For general enquiries, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and following up contact, under Article 6(1)(f).

Job enquiries

If you contact us about a job or apprenticeship, we use the information you send to handle and respond to your enquiry. Avoid sending national identity numbers, health information or other sensitive data by email. If we wish to retain an application for future opportunities, this must be agreed with you.

Retention and access

Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose of the enquiry. Information included in contracts or accounting records may need to be kept longer to meet legal obligations. Access must be limited to those who need the information to follow up the matter.

Email, IT operations and website providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services. Information may also be shared when required by law or necessary to fulfil a contract.

Website, statistics and external services

The website uses Kodefri as its technical platform and loads a script for visitor statistics. When using websites, technical information such as IP address, browser, time and pages visited may be processed for operations, security and statistics. Such data is used to understand usage and keep the website running.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from Kodefri image storage and Unsplash. When loading these, your browser contacts the services, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. The map link on the contact page opens Google Maps only when you follow it.

We have not added contact forms, marketing pixels or embedded maps to these pages. If services requiring cookie consent are introduced, you must receive information and an opportunity to choose before they are activated.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data. You may also have rights to restriction, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Your rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it.

Contact us at post@avage.no to exercise your rights or ask questions. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe personal data is being processed in breach of the rules.
